Terms of Use
In effect from [date]. This is the agreement between you and Rewire for the Rewire app.
Using Rewire
Installing or using Rewire means you accept these terms. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not resell it, rent it out, or try to take it apart to build something from it.
Your account
Rewire works without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done with your account is treated as done by you. You can delete the account at any time — see deleting your data.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancelling
- Rewire Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, currently SAR 129.99 / year or SAR 29.99 / month. Prices vary by country, and the app shows yours before you pay.
- A free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, and renews automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in the App Store or Google Play — see how to cancel. Deleting the app or your Rewire account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us.
- If prices change, the new price applies to renewals after we have told you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
What Rewire is, and is not
Rewire is a self-control tool. It is not medical or psychological treatment, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a substitute for professional help. If your phone use is causing you serious harm, please speak to someone qualified.
Blocking depends on features Apple and Google provide, and on your phone's own settings. Permissions can be withdrawn, some phones stop background apps, and the app can be uninstalled — so we cannot promise that an app will always be blocked. Rewire is offered as it is, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
Fair use
Do not use Rewire to break the law, to interfere with the service or other people's use of it, or to get around the way payment works.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people.
Changes
We may change the app and these terms. If a change matters to you, the app will say so before it applies, and the date at the top of this page shows the version in force.
If you installed from the App Store
This agreement is between you and Rewire only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if applicable; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Claims about the app — liability, consumer protection, or a claim that it infringes someone's rights — are our responsibility, not Apple's. You confirm you are not in a country under a United States embargo and are not on a prohibited-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for time you did or did not spend on your phone. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to your own courts.
