Delete your account and data

Two ways: from inside the app, or by asking us if the app is already gone from your phone.

If you still have the app

1. Open Rewire and go to Profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account — or Erase all my data if you never created an account.
3. Confirm. The deletion happens immediately.

If you have already removed the app

Write to us from the email address your account uses, and say that you want it deleted. We will confirm when it is done, within 30 days and usually the same day.

If you never created an account

Rewire keeps everything on the phone until you sign up, using an anonymous account that holds no name and no email. There is nothing for us to look you up by, so nothing to ask for: removing the app ends it, and the anonymous account is deleted automatically after 30 days without use. Deleting from inside the app, as above, erases it at once.

What gets deleted

• your account and sign-in details;
• your name, language, goal and start date;
• your activities, the sessions you logged, and the minutes you earned and spent;
• your daily counters and lesson progress;
• on Android, the list of apps you chose to lock;
• the answers you gave while setting Rewire up;
• your analytics profile, on request — say so in the message and we will remove it as well.

What we cannot delete

• Your purchase record with Apple or Google. They keep it under their own rules, and we have no way to remove it.
• Anything stored on your own phone, which goes when you remove the app.
